There will be an ice sculpture on display provided by John Mitchell and photography will be provided by Ann Marie Casey Photography. The evening will feature cocktail hour, dinner, open bar and a brief presentation on the Leader Dog program. Basket raffles and Snowflake Gala ornaments will be on sale during the evening.
Q: How will proceeds be used?
A: Proceeds will benefit the Leader Dog Program, which benefits the visually impaired.
Q: How many years has this been a tradition?
A: This is our second year for the event.
Q: How did the idea come about?
A: Our club, Eynon-Archbald Lions Club, is always thinking of new and innovative ways to provide services - such as the Leader Dog program - and help to those in need while reaching out to the local community. We felt that by having a gala yearly we can provide to the Leader Dog program and at the same time offer a fun-filled event to the community at minimal cost.
Q: Why is this event so important?
A: This elegant event provides awareness to the local community on the importance of assisting the visually impaired while providing an opportunity for members of the surrounding communities to gather and socialize as they provide to a worthwhile cause or program.
