The Business Weekly?s July 13 edition lists the top four venture capital deals by total value and the top nine venture capital firms in New Mexico by total capital under management.
The venture capital deals were compiled using the PricewaterhouseCoopers/National Venture Capital Association?s MoneyTree Report for Q1 2012, based on data from Thompson Reuters. Venture capitalists invested $5.8 billion in 758 nationwide deals in the first quarter of 2012, according to the data.
For the venture capital firms list, data also was gathered on size of current fund, industry preference and preferred investment range.
